ATLANTA, GA – From taxes, to constitutional carry, to education, Governor Brian Kemp continues to follow David Perdue’s lead on critical issues.
Eliminating the state income tax
On day one of his campaign, David Perdue announced that as Governor, he would completely eliminate the state income tax.
Law-abiding citizens should be able to exercise their Second Amendment rights to carry a firearm without having to pay for and carry a government permit. Despite his promises on the campaign trail, Brian Kemp has yet to make constitutional carry a reality in Georgia. Real leaders deliver results from the start, and that’s exactly what David Perdue will do as Governor.
Empowering parents in education
David Perdue was the first to announce his vision for a Georgia Parents’ Bill of Rights that would protect parents’ rights to be involved in their children’s education. Schools have shut down and parents have been shut out on Brian Kemp’s watch. Perdue has repeatedly called to put parents back in charge and get kids back in the classroom.
