PERDUE SURGES, TRUMP VOTERS TURN OUT IN UNPRECEDENTED WAY

ATLANTA, GA – Our Trump-endorsed campaign is experiencing a surge in early-voting MAGA voters that the public polls aren’t picking up. Our internal models show this MAGA surge keeping Kemp below the threshold to avoid a runoff, and our position is strengthening with each day of early voting.

  • More than 146,000 Georgians have cast GOP primary ballots through May 10, nearly four times the number that had cast ballots through the same period in 2018.
  • Of those, 46.5% did not vote in the 2018 primary with Kemp on the ballot. 21,000 of these voters cast votes in other elections every time Trump was on the ballot.
  • Turnout in pro-Trump regions, including districts represented by Trump-endorsed Reps. Andrew Clyde, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Jody Hice, is outpacing squishy moderate areas.

It’s clear that we are headed to a runoff with Kemp that he cannot win. If Kemp couldn’t convince the remaining undecided voters to vote for him over the past three years, he won’t be able to do it in the final two weeks of this campaign.
